One of the more depressing things in mineral collecting over the past few years has been the virtual disappearance of good Sweet Home rhodos from the market, once one of the most beautiful prizes of collectors. This is certainly not a top specimen, as there is plenty of roughness and contact here. However, there is a 1.5-cm crystal with fine color and transparency, and a couple of other crystals (as well as some smaller ones) have areas of the same quality.
