An excellent pseudomorph from the Kaokoveld area of Namibia. Shattuckite has replaced prismatic crystals of azurite with one prominent crystal nearly 3cm in length. The bottom of the piece divulges a little more history about the replacement process and paragenesis. A small cavity at the base reveals botryoids of shattuckite along with a partial crystal of primary malachite. Sussman collection label.
