Pyromorphite
This piece is coated with very attractive, translucent, yellowish-green colored "balls" of Pyromorphite on gossan matrix. This specimen is said to have been mined in 1834 according to Richard Kosnar's card that accompanied the piece. It is a fantastic specimen, and is virtually undamaged. Roughton Gill is most likely the premier English locality for Pyromorphite, and these pieces are next to impossible to obtain in any format. A gorgeous little miniature specimen of this highly sought after material. Ex. Kosnar Collection.
