A RARE example of Baja, Mexican GEM OPAL - in appearance, quite similar to Australian material, but of course much less common on the market. There are several nodules of opal embedded in the matrix, the largest just over 2 cm by 1.5 wide. Not exactly fiery, but there are a few red flashes, along with pretty green and blue iridescence as well.
