A RARELY AVAILABLE and SUPERB siderite specimen from the famous Rist Emerald Mine at Hiddenite, North Carolina. A lustrous, super-sharp, 2.7 cm, olive-green siderite crystal is aesthetically attached to matrix covered with sparkly pyrite microcrystals and smaller siderite crystals. This EXCELLENT specimen was mined in a famous series of finds in the 1960s and is from the Ed David Collection.
