Incredibly sharp, ELECTRIC yellow crystals, with luster rare in legrandite as a species and from here in particular, perched starkly and dramatically on contrasting matrix! Who could ask for a better matrix miniature?! The crystals measure to 1.5 cm, and are displayable from both sides of the specimen, perched as they are. This is a KILLER legrandite miniature, and a rare matrix piece with good crystals, as well. Ed purchased this in 1978 when they came out. It is from the same pocket that produced the Aztec Sun, now in the AMNH 3.4 x 2.8 x 1.4 cm
