A super-sharp, blood-red Cuprite crystal, sitting aesthetically on powder-blue Plancheite-covered matrix, highlights this excellent and showy specimen. The 1 cm (tip to tip) Cuprite octahedron is razor sharp, and blood red when backlit well. It is complemented nicely by a 1.6 cm tuft of Malachite. Interestingly, there appears to be a much larger, Plancheite-covered Cuprite octahedron mostly hidden just below the Malachite. A dramatic and artistic specimen.
