Most Brandberg amethysts are standalone crystals, so the ones on matrix, particularly those that sit so AESTHETICALLY on the matrix, are quite prized by collectors and command good money. We shot this under normal light, but under a good case or show light it absolutely lights up and glows! The crystal is pristine, with a silky luster and no contacts. An EXCEPTIONAL Brandberg piece!Now in Joseph Polityka collection.
