Glassy and gemmy, this "V" twin of cerussite is colorless and has the classic amazing adamantine (diamond like) luster from the old days! It comes with a label from Wilhelm Maucher (1879-1930, https://mineralogicalrecord.com/labels.asp?colid=322), dating it to the first oxide zone or perhaps the very early mining of the second zone. It is gorgeous, lustrous, and gemmy. It is also very stout, being just under an inch thick. Although there is some minor edge damage at the bottom , and a few very tiny nicks atop, it is still an important and visually pleasing specimen, and imposing on display. The luster and gemminess are better in person than a photo can convey. 210 grams
