An old-time, classic and beautiful tourmaline from Newry, Maine. This gemmy and lustrous, sharply terminated, bi-colored crystal grades from pastel-green at the base to a pleasing teal-blue in the upper half of the crystal. The crystal is complete-all-around. A highly representative old-time specimen of the species and historic locale. Probably around 100 years old, because it came out of the Russell Jones Collection and was not from the modern era 1972 rediscovery of such crystals. Weighs 20 grams.
