A pair of excellent, gemmy and lustrous, yellow londonite crystals grace the top of this multi-mineral and multicolor pegmatite matrix. The londonites are gemmy to translucent with exceptional yellow color with the smaller crystal measures 1.6 cm in maximum dimension; and the larger one measuring 2.7 cm at its maximum. Londonite is the very rare, cesium-dominant analogue of rhodizite. These large and gemmy crystals are set on a colorful matrix of white albite, smoky quartz, and magenta elbaite. The small crystal is complete and rear of the large crystal is cleaved, but does not detract from the impact of these large and colorful crystals standing up on this dramatic, colorful matrix. An old specimen from the early 2000s, probably 2000-2003, and seldom do we see these turn up anymore.
