A classic, very showy, two-sided specimen of vugs filled with sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, olive-green epidote crystals from the premiere world-wide locality for epidote. Nests of blue-green, fibrous byssolite hairs are richly scattered on the epidote crystals and on the massive epidote matrix. The largest prism is 3.4 cm and the isolated, projecting crystal is curved. Most of these were found prior to the 1950s, and as far as over 100 years back. Very highly representative of both species and renowned locale. Ex. Kaar Collection.
