Emplaced aesthetically on a white granitic matrix are a few equant, lustrous and translucent, pinkish red fluorite octahedrons, to 1.5 cm in length. The color contrast between the matrix and fluorite crystals is outstanding. These have a VIVID red-pink color, well beyond the normal "pink" color associated with this old classic locality.
