Quartz (Var: Smoky Quartz), Spessartine
A striking, doubly terminated smoky quartz crystal fully "clothed" on all sides with gemmy and lustrous, burnt orange to tiny yellow spessartines from recent Chinese finds. Only the terminations lack spessartines. The spike termination is frosted and the other end broke, re-healed and grew new, multiple smoky quartz terminations. Complete-all-around and nearly pristine.
