This is one of the loveliest Schorl specimens I have come across. The crystals are beautiful jet-black columnar prisms with striking luster. Two of the larger crystals (5 cm) are doubly-terminated, and show the distinctive hemimorphic terminations. Overall, this is truly a stunning cluster of splendid Schorl crystals. You rarely see them in such nice aggregation on matrix. Usuually they are loners, or in ugly clusters, and not showing so much form individually. NO REPAIRS!!! It is NOT a typical schorl.
