From the Colorado collection of Richard A. Kosnar. The Sunnyside mine has produced some very well known Rhodochrosite specimens in its history. This piece has some very attractive, pink colored Rhodochrosite rhombs forming "rosettes" on matrix. The Rhodochrosites are have good luster with that classic color that is well known from the Sunnyside mine.
