An AESTHETIC and BEAUTIFUL Ilfeld manganite cluster jauntily perched on baryte matrix. This super piece is composed of highly lustrous, columnar and prismatic, jet-black, freestanding crystals. I particularly like the aesthetics of this piece. The manganite crystals are in a jackstraw pattern, with 3-dimensionality, not in the usual same plane. These CLASSIC, OLD-TIMERS were all found prior to 1900. Very nearly pristine, with only the large manganite having a contacted termination.
