Wreathed beautifully by bladed, white, albite is a glassy and gemmy, multi hued, green elbaite crystal that measures 6 cm in length. A smaller elbaite crystal is present, behind the main crystal. Very aesthetic! This is the classic style from a major find of the early 1990s, and a well balanced and dramatic example of the habit. An earlier large find was of slender, more multicolored crystals. This find produced fat green crystals, but few as gemmy as you see here. ex Klaus Neumann Collection
