This single, compound fluorite crystal is 5 pounds in weight and is remarkably complete. It is almost a floater with just some contact on the backside and only very minor edge wear in few places. It has intricate phantoms and is extraordinarily gemmy and transparent for a fluorite this size, or from anywhere really. In person, depending on the light spectrum, the color shows subtle tones of blue and lavender. The phantoms are sharp, but again can be more or less sharp depending on the lighting (angle) and intensity (muted light shows them better). It is a piece that is really quite more impressive in person. This came out a few years ago, I believe. Joe Budd photos.
