A gorgeous specimen with limpid, glassy and gemmy, gypsum crystals, to 3 cm in length, which are included by acicular, dark green atacamite needles, to 4 mm in length. The crystals of selenite literally look like carved glass, they are so sharp. The bright contrast is impressive and unusual. This is from a large find of the late 1990s., now seldom seen for sale.
