The true holy grail of the famous Blanchard Mine in New Mexico are these highly sought-after Linarite specimens with intense color saturation and richness. This is an aesthetically-shaped and striking small cabinet specimen hosting a myriad of sparkly, royal-blue Linarite crystals from less than a millimeter, up to 3 mm, with crystals nearly covering much of the Quartz matrix. The upper two-thirds of this piece is just covered with these beautiful blue crystals and they really stand out on the contrasting tan, slightly iron-stained, finely crystalline Quartz matrix. A super colorful piece from the famous Blanchard Claims at Bingham, New Mexico. Ex. Michael Sanders and P. Chris Cowan collections with labels.
