Unfortunately the pic is angled so that it emphasizes a whitish area at the bottom of the crystal, but in fact, this is a really good red beryl, measuring a full centimeter in length, with deep color and lustrous faces, well-exposed on the matrix. These matrix red beryls are just incredibly hard to get now at anything but absurd prices on the open market. 4.5 x 4.1 x 3.9 cm
