A particularly elegant example of a species which is seldom "elegant" in specimen form; highly lustrous, dark gray, fan shaped, crystal clusters of semseyite, an uncommon lead antimony sulfosalt, exhibit rows of parallel growth on a natural pedestal of matrix composed of other species. Closely associated with the semseyite are two milky quartz crystals, to 1.2 cm in length. Accents are a bonus here - lustrous, black sphalerite crystals, to 2 mm across, along with tan marcasite spheres, to 2mm across. From the type locality for semseyite, this is a very fine, aesthetic, competitive level miniature! Most such specimens are lumpy, or gray on gray.
