This is a unique atacamite specimen from Mammoth-St. Anthony not only for its richness of atacamite but also the provenance as indicated by labels that accompany the piece! The specimen is composed of a plethora of atacamite both as granular massive crystalline matrix and as profuse clusters of deep green, scintillating needles all over the specimen! One end of the piece consists of granular to crystalline cerussite. Labels not only include a more recent William Pinch label, but also a label from the collection of George Higson and one old worn label from Mat's Rock Shop in Scottsdale, Arizona. Excellent piece for the locality with great documentation. It is a large miniature or technically, a small cabinet sized piece. It sparkles!
