Carl Davis had superb taste in patiently waiting for and choosing excellent rare species thumbnail specimens. This is a major, large, sharp crystal of the species, and relatively aesthetic as well. It is complete all around save for a small matrix contact on one tip only. It can probably clean, chemically, but I have not done so. As an aside, this is a piece I first saw in 1985 when I was 13 years old; one I recall clearly in my mentor's collection because I thought the name was silly-sounding. Ex. Carlton Davis Collection
