Microlite, Lepidolite
The pictures do not do justice to this shimmering, lustrous, gemmy crystal perched on contrasting matrix. It has a rich golden color and internal shimmer that is simply amazing for the species and the locality. I have never seen the like. Neither had Luis Menezes, from whom I bought the best two specimens he had for sale from a very small lot obtained some months ago in Brazil. 2.5 x 2.3 x 1.9 cm
