Tuscanite

Slender, prismatic crystals of Tuscanite richly line this 3.5 cm pocket. The crystals of this rare silicate are tan, have silky luster, and in a few cases reach over 1 cm in length. An excellent specimen for the very rare species. Acquired from the Cutli collection, Rome, 1979.
