An unusual growth of pyrite, which some say forms nucleated around organic remains in the fossil-bearing rocks. This is a complete, cucumber-like tube shape, terminated at both ends and complete-all-around. Certainly, pyrite is unusual for Kansas. Ex. Harold Urish Collection.
