A particularly fine and rich astrophyllite specimen from this important locality with lustrous, thick, metallic-foil-like, flat-laying crystals to 2.8 cm embedded in matrix. These bronze-yellow blades have almost a chatoyant look to them. Ex. Elling Collection.
