This is from the aptly named "lipstick pocket" of Cruzeiro Mine tourmaline, which Steve Smale purchased nearly in its entirety while he happened to be in Brazil employed to think about mathematics around 1990-91 (it may have come out in the late 1980s - was never clear on that). He hoarded them and traded them off over the decades, but they are always immediately recognizable. This one actually did come from his stash, directly to me, in a deal in the past. It is balanced, and has deep colors and a beautiful cranberry red termination! 24 grams.
