Lustrous cluster of side by side Smoky Quartz crystals. Like the true Alpine Smokies, the luster and gemminess are excellent. The back and many of the tips are contacted, as this surely was a torturous mining process. However, the sidebar Smokey Quartz crystals (up to 3.3 cm) are in excellent condition and well show just how good these crystals can be. This came without a label, but there are several localities in Italy, ranging from Sardinia to the Aosta Valley, that could have produced such a fine quality Smoky Quartz.
