Impressive plate of sharp, grass-green Fluorite cubes mined near Chifeng, in Inner Mongolia. The cubes, which range up to 3.7 cm on edge, are gemmy and lustrous. Each crystal has a sharp and smoky phantom, and they all have bright fluorescence. These green Fluorites grew on a matrix of blue Fluorite, Smoky Quartz, and assorted sulfides. I have seen few colorful and gemmy Fluorites, especially clustered in an impressive plate like this, from this mining region. Very good aesthetics, and uncommon as yet - this was from a small find at the end of 2018. We have not seen more since, and honestly I am not even sure of an exact mine location at this time. There were only half a dozen examples of this quality, to my knowledge, making it a rather unique and interesting China find.
