This is actually a rare matrix specimen with bubbly nodules embedded in the host matrix rare for the locality where most are free-floating nodules by the time they are found. The outgrowths atop are actually crystalline spherical aggregates, more rare for the locality. Bill says, and from experience I think he is correct, that this is an older specimen from early collecting here. Ex. Bill Pinch Collection.
