A sharp, highly modified octahedron of Magnetite from the historic Port Henry iron ore locality on Lake Champlain. The crystal has very good luster, good form for being truncated and modified, and some contacting at a few corners. Undoubtedly over 100 years old, this classic old-time material has it's original Ward's label from one of his famous exhibitions in the early 1900s.
