Carrollite is a rare copper, cobalt, nickel sulfide, with the very finest of the species coming from the Congo. This excellent thumbnail is sharp, well-defined, and has a bright metallic luster. The single crystal is a modified cuboctahedron and along the contacted bottom are Chalcopyrite crystals. The condition and aesthetics both help make this such a choice thumbnail. INCREDIBLY sharp, it looks carved!
