An old classic, these twined chrysoberyls are still considered by many to be the finest textbook crystals of the species. Cyclic twinning and a glassy and gemmy, yellow green color highlight this impressive, competition-quality, thumbnail specimen. Old material from the 1940s or 1950s, probably.
