Beautiful blue hemispheres of Chrysocolla cover the surface of this attractive miniature which has, in turn, been covered with a thin layer of sparkling, drusy Quartz. The color of the Chrysocolla is an alluring deep sky-blue and the Quartz accentuates the color and richness of the piece thin layer of drusy quartz that gives it a sparkle and provides additional texture with the subtle "crackling" pattern developed in the druse for added artistic appeal. This is an excellent piece for form and size, and color intensity. It's a classic combination piece from Inca de Oro and now difficult to obtain. Much more sparkly and saturated in person! ex Skip Szenics collection (he is the one who collected them and brought them to market, years ago!)
