Brillant-metallic molybdenite crystals are set on sculptural quartz matrix on this fine specimen from the Moly Hill Mine of Quebec. Most crystals are flat-lying, but the one vertical crystal cluster is striking. The platy crystals have textbook, hexagonal crystal form and reach 2.0 cm. The large composite cluster is 2.9 cm across. Classic material.
