A showy cluster of transparent, gemmy and lustrous light-red rhodochrosite crystals to 1.0 cm set on sparkly gray quartz matrix from the recent find at the Uchucchacua Mine, Peru. Rhodochrosite on quartz is uncommon from Uchucchacua. Minimal damage to the periphery of the specimen and none to the central portion of the piece. 7.0 x 4.8 x 4.6 cm
