An extravagent cluster of intersecting, randomly oriented crystals all still somehow managing to form roughly a cube in overall shape. Neat piece, very unique! These are found related to gold mining operations at several localities in Trinity County: they are likely from La Grange which is located between Weaverville and Junction City. That was HUGE hydraulic gold mine operation and produced quite a few diamonds up to 12 carats in size (thanks to John Veevaert for this information) 3.87 cts: 8 x 8 x 6 mm
