A rare lead, copper chloride, this vivid blue Diaboleite is from the Collins vein of the renowned Mammoth-St. Anthony Mine at Tiger. These are extremely rare and hard to come by today and were collected in the emid-1900s. This piece has gorgeous and saturated color! The habit of the intense, azure-blue Diaboleite is tabular, with some edges nearly complete, and some contacted (as is typical). The largest crystal, remarkably, is over 1 cm in length. This is a first-class specimen for the species. An excellent thumbnail from the collection of miner Valenzuela, Frank (label shown)
