A showy, fine, old-time specimen of glassy and partially gemmy, dark emerald-green dioptase crystals to 9 mm nicely cresting quartz matrix from the Type Locality - Altyn-Tube, Kazakhstan. The major crystals are pristine. Fine materal with an old Ward"s label. A bit of periphery damage is certainly not detracting. Ex Richard Hauck Collection. 4.7 x 3.9 x 2.3 cm
