A fine and very rich cabinet specimen of the very rare zinc phosphate tarbuttite from the Kabwe (Broken Hill) Mine of Zambia, the Type Locality. Very gemmy, colorless to light gray tarbuttite crystals richly cover the sculptural gossan matrix plate on this fine old-time piece from the 1960s or earlier. Ex. Dr. Herman Bodson and Mullane Collections.
