A fine lazurite specimen from the Steve Smale Collection and the Type Locality - Sar-e-Sang, Afghanistan. A 2.2 cm, sharp, dark, doubly-terminated, well-exposed, royal-blue lazurite crystal is perched atop contrasting white marble matrix. The crystal exhibits textbook form and is complete-all-around.
