These stunning Altai Mountain fluorites are just NOT AVAILABLE, and really never were in any quantity. We got three specimens that turned up as a total fluke from a contact who had them stashed away. They were found some years back in this mountainous area near Mongolia which hasn't yet produced much compared to other parts of China. Not only are these difficult to obtain, but this is a large specimen from the find! There is a slight coating on some of the crystals which makes some of them more dull than others. Still, an important piece. It features deep purple, extremely modified cubes with tiered hexagonal and cubic sub-terminations and weirdly architectural forms. 22 x 11.5 x 7 cm
