A sharp crystal of multicolored quartz, showing zones of quartz and amethyst, from classic finds of the late 1990s and early 2000s. This specimen is a fine single crystal with unusually good color, and at least several nice little water bubble inclusions you can see even in the photo. We first obtained it in 2010 with the purchase of the Charlie Key Brandberg collection, in partnership with Marshall Sussman (we recently got it back in a collection purchase). Charlie lived in Swakopmund and had high graded these for years. There are bigger, of course. But this is a fine example for the size, of high quality.
