Stilbite-Ca, Heulandite, Quartz
WOW! this dramatic piece is a large natural vug formed form a lava bubble, pulled out of the surrounding host rock intact, lined with quartz on which over a dozen salmon-pink stilbite bowties have formed, in addition to several large, rusty-red heulandites. The crystals are beautifully isolated on the quartz. This is a large, showy specimen. Ex. George Feist Collection Indian suite.
