You might not even know this is adamite without being told, since it is so radically different from the usual Mapimi specimen. This is a plate of very small, jewel-like, water-clear crystals, ranging from colorless to very slightly yellow-green. You can see traces of limonite on the back, but there is no matrix here; this is all adamite, and incredibly bright and lustrous (much more so in person) .
