A very significant dioptase specimen from Mammoth-St. Anthony! A rich sparkling druse of dark emerald green dioptase crystals adorns much of the front of this fantastic specimen with the matrix consisting of variegated blue, coarse, subhedral linarite and off-white cerussite with some scattered vugs in the cerussite that contain numerous, small dioptase crystals. The royal blue linarite in this piece is heavily pervasive in this specimen and adds tremendous color contrast! An incredibly attractive dioptase piece formerly in the William Pinch and the Hadley and Marion Stuart collections, with labels. Note that on the Pinch label, he also notes the presence of micro crystals of phosgenite and boleite. A rich and important specimen for this locality.
