Quartz (Var: Amethyst)
A dramatic, large cabinet amethyst plate from recent finds at Artigas, Uraguay. Mounded, spherical clusters of gemmy and rich, intensely grape-purple amethyst crystals cover this gorgeous piece. The four major balls are pristine and this most impressive piece is very nearly pristine. Superb material with top color from this famous locale.
